Back to the Grind

Sleeper installation in W-Space

Now that I’ve got the guide for the first of EVE’s epic arcs out of the way (with a couple of addenda to come, watch this space). I’m going back to my usual occupation of hi-sec mission running. Building up enough cash to fit and run a BS (my first :D , hows that for a five year old character?) so I can move from lvl 3 missions up to lvl 4′s and then saving up for an Azaru for my planned W-Space walkabout.

No departure date on that as yet but I’ll be sure to let you know. I plan to simply hop from hole to hole and see where they take me. I won’t be looking for a fight or collecting intel so if I end up in your backyard in 0.0 you have no cause for concern, I’ll announce my presence and my reason for being there and hopefully I won’t get podded.

I’ve also got a couple of articles in the works for the next couple of weeks. I may or may not be participating in this month’s Blog Banter (its quite a tricky one this time around, but we’ll see) which will go live across quite a few EVE blogs on Sunday, and I’m planning a comprehensive guide to the Overview as well so watch this space…

The above is a shot of a Sleeper cruiser drone that I took whilst getting in some scanning practice in W-Space a couple of nights ago. I’m sure I don’t need to re-iterate it here but the Sleepers pack one hell of a punch (as I discovered to my cost about half an hour later) especially the Sirius sentry turrets that sometimes spawn around their installations. My poor little Anathema was dead and gone in two hits :( . Thems the breaks though.

I’m still open to suggestions for articles or guides you want to see on the subject of EVE so drop me a line either in the comments here or eve-mail Jmarr Hyrgund in game.

Till next time, fly safe and good hunting

I agree, this months blog banter is tough. Not my cup of tea. But We do have a decent amount of time so I may take a crack at it.

I dunno, Sunday’s not that far off… and I need to read up on the whole affair so I don’t make any glaring errors.
