I sat down at my PC this morning and the first thing that leapt out at me from my Facebook page was that news story. Goonswarm, the alliance born from the Something Awful forums all those years ago, have disbanded!
According to the IC report, All but two Goon corporations are flying under no alliance ticker and there is a whole slew of speculation as to why this was done. Goons CEO, Karttoon, has made a very brief statement on the forums and I quote it in full
“This was the only real way to get rid of the pubbies.”
Whatever that might mean.
