EVE online is unique in many ways, as I’m sure you’ve no doubt read somewhere in these pages before now. Not least is CCP’s inauguration of a democratically elected player council, a first in the MMO sphere. The Council of Stellar Management (the CSM of the title) exists to serve as a liason between the population of New Eden and CCP, bringing up issues and concerns that the players have and seeing if the backroom boys at CCP can do something about them.
The minutes of the first meeting (held in Reykjavik, at CCP’s expense) are now on the web. and they make for some interesting reading. Players have been invited to discuss all the issues raised on the EVE forums. I’ll be having a more detailed read of a couple later in the week.
