Right, I’m putting out this appeal. If anyone has a link to me on their page let me know in the comments and I’ll sort out linking back. I lost my links in the transition.
Work on the site proceeds apace. you probably haven’t noticed any changes but its all happening in the background. Plugins currently running are as follows:
- Autometa - Generates tags/keywords based on text of posts, quite handy but requires manual revision of generated tags.
- Anti Spam Image (website is a 404 sorry) - Usual drill, one of the many anti spam image plugins available. I just picked the first one on the list.
- Breadcrumb - Simple breadcrumb navigation plugin (not yet implemented) adds ‘Home >> Category >> Post’ style navigation to your WP blog.
- Del.icio.us Bookmark This - adds a link for bookmarking pages/posts on del.icio.us to posts/pages.
- Google Analytics - Allows the tracking of pages in your blog with Google Analytics.
- Identify External Links - Identifys links to places beyond the blog and adds a class to their tag so you can add an image or specify styling.
- Jerome’s Keywords - Tagging plugin, allows creation of internal tag system and generation of tagclouds. Compatible with Technorati.
- Google Sitemap - Generates a googlebot readable sitemap in XML. Makes it easier for the crawler to navigate dynamic sites.
I’ve still a couple of things to do, pages to add, plugins to find and adsense to place but the site you see before you is pretty much as it is going to be from now on. I’ll start writing about real stuff pretty soon and be finished with faffing about with stuff.
