Rolinthor over at Diary of a Bored Spaceman has a new blog post up, at the end of which he shows off a map of his travels in New Eden. I thought I’d pick up this meme (though I think it may have been done before) and run with it.
Jmarr, being the oldest of the two characters I play the most is obviously the most widely travelled. I floated about EVE for about 4 years doing the odd thing here and there without any real focus for my gameplay. I spent some time in 0.0 (The drone regions and Providence mainly) but didn’t really get him settled into a specific role until last year. So here is the shot of Jmarr’s travels since they started recording such things (I don’t know if this data goes all the way back or not, maybe someone can enlighten me.)

Rokkit is by far the least traveled of my characters, sticking as she does to Caldari space and running missions for the Caldari Navy. She may be about to become more widely traveled though as I’m skilling her up to go wormholing.

It gets me to thinking about players who do nothing but run missions and have never done anything else. Unless they switch corps regularly and go looking for new agents in other regions, they’re going to miss out on alot of what New Eden has to offer. Rokkit has never really left The Citadel or The Forge in her short career, maybe its time for a change. I hear Kor-Azor is nice this time of year.
